- The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to issue a solicitation for Park Custodian Services at Berry Bend Point Public Use Area. The Contractor shall provide all manpower, equipment, and supplies, necessary to clean and servi ce the facilities and grounds of Berry Bend Public Use Area located at the Harry S. Truman Project, near Warsaw, Missouri. Services shall be completed as described in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) and elsewhere in the solicitation. Acceptable per formance standards and current regulations are provided for each task. The Contractor shall monitor performance and ensure compliance in accordance with the terms and conditions. This contract shall include a base year beginning 15 April 2008, or date of award if later, and continue through 20 October 2008. Effective dates for the option renewal year shall be from 15 April 2009 through 19 October 2009. The Contractor shall begin performance no later than 7:00 a.m. and be completed no later than 4:00 p.m. daily. This solicitation will be issues as a Best Value, Request for Quote (RFQ) which will result in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) service contract. The solicitation will be available on or about December 18, 2007 and Quotes will be due approximately January 16, 2008. The solicitation, including any amendments, shall establish the official opening and closing dates and times. NAICS code The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 561720 SBA s ize standard is $15.0. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. New procedures being implemented for U.S. Army Corps of Engineer solicitations will require that all potential offerors register in CCR and FedTeDS in order to view or download solicitations.
