- US Army Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command (JM&L LCMC) Acquisition Center, Picatinny Arsenal, On behalf of the Office of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (OPM-MAS) intends to solicit under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, a sole source contract with General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, located at 11399 16th Court North, Suite 200, St. Petersburg, FL 33716. This will be a firm fixed price requirement to produce the120mm Advanced Tungsten Armor Piercing, Fin Stabilized, Discarding Sabot (APFDS) KE-W A1 tank cartridge on behalf of the State of Kuwait. The requirement will include one base year and 4 option years. Delivery requirements will be approximately 3,000 cartridges in the base year, approximately 5,000 cartridges in option 1, approximately 2,000 cartridges in option 2, approximately 2,000 cartridges in option 3, and approximately 2,000 cartridges in option 4. Delivery will be made within 13 months of award and option exercise. This solicitation supports Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) KU-B-JAT.
