- The Army Contracting Agency (ACA), Directorate of Contracting at Fort Bragg, NC, intends to release a solicitation for the delivery of fresh water and removal of grey water from identified Tactical Training Bases (TTB) used to support the Fort Bragg Mobilization Station mission. Estimated quantity requirements will support a range between 100 and 3000 soldiers with sufficient fresh water delivery and grey water removal to support daily showers and weekly laundry requirement. Future FOB requirements for the delivery of fresh water and removal of grey water will be included as a part of a turn-key service operation requirement currently anticipated as being acquired through ACAs Field and Installation Readiness Support Team (FIRST) contract. This act ion will be conducted as a commercial service acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. The Government intends to solicit this acquisition as 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The Period of Performance is anticipated for 1 January throu gh 31 March 2008. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 562991, Septic Tank and Related Services. The small business size standard is $6.5M. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ), W91 247-08-T-0013, on or about 19 December 2007 with a tentative closing date of 27 December 2007. The RFQ and amendments will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. All Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration.
