- A sole source procurement is contemplated with Germfree 11 Aviator Way, Ormond Beach, FL 32174, for a Custom Class III BSC with High Containment Filtration Sysem. Glovebox: " Constructed of all welded 12-16 gauge type-316 stainless steel with int erior coved corners and radius bends. " Polished to a 180-grit pharmaceutical grade (#4) finish. Facilitates cleaning and decontamination along with providing a rigid durable structure. " Nominal Overall Dimensions:104 W x 23 D x 94 H " Nominal I nterior Dimensions: 72 W x 23 D x 48 H " Sectional viewing window will be at a minimum 3/8-inch thick clear polycarbonate sealed to the Glovebox with a stainless steel frame and approved gaskets. " One section is removable sealed to the glovebox with clamps. Provides full easy access for equipment set up, removal or maintenance. " Viewing windows provided with double groove stainless steel glove ports sealed into the window (4 along the bottom with 3 up high, exact number and placement TBD during d esign review). The glove ports allow glove changes without breaking containment. " Interior illuminated with a non-glare fluorescent light, mounted in a housing sealed with a stainless steel frame and approved gaskets. The bulb is replaced externally wi thout breaking containment. " Inlet and exhaust HEPA filters will be rated at 99.99% efficient at a 0.3-micron particle size (part # HGB 883) and will be sealed into the Glovebox with stainless steel frames. Sanitary shut off butterfly valves providing for a complete sealed interior. " Set of sealed electrical receptacles located inside the Glovebox. " Additional electrical receptacle (120V, 15 amp, 1-phase) with grounded molded plug provided for client supplied Strutevant Micronizer (requires 8 am ps). " Drain with stainless steel shut off valve. " Biodecontamination inlet and return ports (sanitary or cam and groove fittings) with shut off valves (1.5 ?) including 4 circulating fans. Pressure reference port with shut off valve also included. (Exact requirements TBD during design review) " Accessible control panel including: Digital and mechanical pressure gauge, low-pressure alarm with audible and visual functions, main and light On/Off power switches. " Each end is provided with a doubl e door airlock with automatic HEPA purge (inlet and single exhaust filter), exhausting to the room. All airlock door openings: ~12 x12 . Larger sizes available. " Airlock doors provided with interlocking system (PLC controlled). " Custom all welded s tainless steel stand with heavy duty non-marring carry casters. Nominal height from the floor: 36 inches. " Requires 120V, 50-60-Hz single-phase (240V, 50/60Hz available), 20-amp dedicated circuit power supply. High Containment HEPA Only Filtration System (FS-75H): " Constructed of all welded 14 and 16-gauge type 316 stainless steel polished to a 180-grit pharmaceutical grade (#4) finish. " Properly sized motor-blower provides the necessary exhaust airflow volume (including the micronizer outp ut of 20 cfm) and negative pressure to maintain the Glovebox in a safe operational mode. The system will operate at 60 cfm with greater than .5 inches of negative pressure. " Filtration system capable of maintaining proper negative pressure in the event of a complete single glove breech. " Bag-in bag-out design for filter change without breaking containment, includes bag and safety strap. " One 12x24x3 HEPA filter, rated at 99.99% efficient at a 0.3-micron particle size " Sanitary butterfly shut off valves will be provided at the inlet and exhaust of the Filtration system for complete sealing of the Filtration system. " Digital pressure gauge with visual and audible alarm, located in the glovebox control panel. " Mounted to Class III BSC st and " Requires 120V, 60-Hz single-phase (240V, 50/60Hz available), 15-amp dedicated circuit power supply " Approximate weight 220 lbs. Pursuant to 10 U .S.C. 2304 (C) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, supplies, services, and/or equipment required are available from one responsible source and no other type of supplies, services, and/or equipment will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETETIVE QUOTES; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished to demonstrate the ability to compy with the governments requirements.This announce ment constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
