Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Station Islamorada, Monroe County (Florida Keys), Florida. SEAWALL work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and transportation to perform stabilization repairs to the seawall and repairs to portions of the main station building as follows: stabilize approximately 100 linear feet of existing seawall by installation of geotextile fabric, excavation and fill, hauling and disposal, sodding, clean-up and restoration of adjacent areas to original conditions and provide any and all incidentals required to complete the work in accordance with the contract documents. MAIN BUILDING work consists of demolition and reconstruction of the 800 square feet DC shop and 120 square feet storage room located on the ground floor of the main building; the work includes demolition and new construction of these building areas including helical pin pile foundations, concrete grade beams, reinforced masonry block walls, architectural finishes, interior electrical work and any and all other incidentals required to complete the work as specified. The estimated price range of the complete project is between $500,000 - $1,000,000. Performance time is 180 calendar days. This project is being considered for 100 percent HUBZone set-aside. Interested HUBZone businesses should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer in writing as early as possible and should be received no later than 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: (a) a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, (b) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact and telephone numbers, and (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. Information should be faxed to 305/278-6696. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering , with a size standard of $31.0 million.
