- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration intends to procure on a sole source basis registrations to the annual conference provided by Food and Drug Law Institute. Period of performance will be March 26 -27, 2008. Attendance to these workshops is important to the mission of FDA. FDLI has over 10,000 members and affiliates with expertise in the various disciplines. They provide a forum where the laws, regulations and policies relating to food, drugs, and other healthcare technologies can be discussed. They provide conferences and publications to educate and train on food and drug laws and regulation. This acquisition will be conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. The NAICS code classification is 61171. This notice is not a request for proposals and no other solicitation documents exists for this requirement. However, interested parties that wish to respond to this notice will need to submit proposals, including cost, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same products and services. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
