- Description
- Coordinator Position for the Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline proposed project through lands administered by the USDA Forest Service, Fremont-Winema, Rogue River-Siskiyou and Umpqua National Forests in SW Oregon. The Contractor shall coordinate for the USDA Forest Service with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, USDA Forest Service employees and other agencies in the preparation of the draft Environmental Impact Statement in compliance with the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, and the Council on Environmental Quality. This is a Request for Proposals requiring completion of a Questionnaire, detailed technical proposals are not required. Award evaluation criteria include: (1) knowledge of USDA Forest Service Management Plans for the lands administered by the individual forests, (2) ability to coordinate with Forest Service employees involved with responses to the proposed project, (3) ability to facilitate meetings with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and other agencies and (4) ability to serve as writer/editor for the Forest Service Environmental Impact Statement and past performance history in addition to price. Award may be made without discussions. This project includes provision for an additional option period. It is anticipated the solicitation will be available on or about 2/1/2008. Hard copies of the solicitation are not available.
