- Description
- This procurement is for a fully competitive, High Security Padlock,that is Key Operated, with a Shrouded Shackle this solicitation is for one item NSN 5340-01-217-5068. Item requirements are in accordance with MIL-DTL-43607J. This item is being solicited on an UNRESTRICTED basis. The solicitation will be issued under FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This solicitation requires Pre Production Sample testing at the Governments expense, sample (quantity 17 locks with 24 key sets) due at closing/response date. The proposed Indefinite Delivery Contract is for a two year base with three one-year option periods; the proposed contract will be Firm Fixed Price, with a request for 45 day delivery after the initial order. First Article Test (by the Government) and PVT requirements will be part of the proposed award.. Description, Annual Estimated Quantity (AEQ) 6500 each, Packaging Data, Specification number and QAPs' can be found on pages 41-45 of the solicitation. The solicitation will include DFARS 252.225-7020 Trade Agreements Certificate (JAN 2005) and Trade Agreements (JAN 2005)(19U.S.C. 2501-2518 and 19 U.S.C. 3301) note. The proposed contract will be evaluated using Best Value Procedures. The solicitation will be available to all interested parties through the DLA BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is Dec 7, 2007. Complete proposal Must be returned to the Business Opportunities Office by 1:00pm EST on Feb 07, 2008.
