- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia intends to solicit a commercial item procurement for Veterans Readjustment Counseling Services - Charlottesville, Virginia area for a Base and two - one year periods. The geographical catchment area to be served by the contractor is Albemarle, Amherst, Augusta, Buckingham, Culpepper, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, Orange, Rockingham, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Staunton, and Waynesboro. Contractors will provide services for eligible beneficiaries of the VA Medical Center in accordance with all existing Federal, State and Local Regulations. This is a proposed contract action for services for which the government intends to solicit as unrestricted. The NAICS code is 621330, $6M. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. This requirement is subject to the availability of FY08 funds. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award without discussions. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions later if determined necessary by the Contracting Officer. Proposals must be received by 4:00 PM, October 19, 2007 local time. Quotations shall be submitted to: Hampton VAMC, 100 Emancipation Drive, Bldg. 27, Supply, Hampton, Virginia, 23667, and directed to the attention of Faye Dillard. Solicitation number shall be listed on the outside of responses for identification purposes. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-SEP-2007).
