Numbered note 25 applies. Seeking 8a, SDVOSB and or HUB Zone Firms. THIS NOTICE IS FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID. SOLICITATION SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. The tracking number for this announcement is W911PT08S0001. The NAICS code for this proposed acquisition is 561621. This is a firm fixed priced requirement and is proposed for a base year and two option years. The Government will use responses to this Sources Sought Synops is to make appropriate acquisition decisions regarding the type of procurement to be utilized to obtain fire sprinkler systems inspections and service call maintenance at Watervliet Army Arsenal, in upstate New York, about 15 miles from Albany, NY. The Ar senal requires a contractor to inspect, repair and certify the wet/dry fire suppression systems. Inspection are required on all systems and documented on required Department of Army certification form. The contractor will also provide routine and emergen cy service calls on malfunctioning or inoperative wet/dry fire suppression systems. Emergency response time is within 2 hours and routine within 2 business days. Watervliet Arsenal solicits a capability statement from all qualified 8(a) certified compani es, Certified HUBZONE Companies and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The contractor shall meet all fire protection system licensing and qualification requirement of the State of New York. All work shall be performed by personnel certified Level III by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based System: or under the direct on-site supervision of the NICET Level III certified personnel. Copies of all licenses shall be provided to the Contractor Officer for review. All interested companies meeting our stated small business criteria are invited to submit a Capability Statement consisting of appropriate documentation, literature and brochures and should include: 1) Firm name, address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address. 2) Identification of the company as a Small Business with proper certification (NAICS code) 561621 business size standard is not to exceed $ 11.5 million 3) Past history showing similar work with in the past three (3) years 4) List of existing teaming agreements in place with other businesses. IMPORTANT: Responses must be limited to no more than 10 pages. Submission of Capabilities Statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offeri ngs, but participation will assist the Arsenal in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be not construed as a commitment by the Government nor wil l the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents WILL NOT be notified of the results of the evaluation. Statements that do not meet all requirements or not submitted within the allotted time will not be considered.
