- Description
- Provide all necessary architectural and engineering services required to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates, including services throughout construction for Project No. 626-08-103, Ward Upgrade 2G at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, VA Medical Center, 1310 24th Ave., S., Nashville, TN 37212. Work includes architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, and industrial hygiene. The project will renovate approximately 7,462 NSF on an existing inpatient ward located on the 2nd floor of the medical center. Construction cost range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Area of consideration is limited to a 500 mile radius of the VA Medical Center, Nashville, TN. The NAICS code is 541330 and the size standard is $4.5 million. A/E selection criteria will include: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for performance of required services; 2) specialized experience and technical competence of the A/E firm with similar type projects; 3) past performance on contracts with Government agencies; 4) Location of A/E firm; 5) experience and roles of key design personnel, specifically on related projects; 6) cost control and estimating effectiveness. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. This is not a request for proposal. Firms desiring consideration must submit two copies of SF 330 not later than 4:30 p.m. CST on January 11, 2008.
