- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colorado has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and maintenance necessary to furnish an on-site state-of -the-art Mobile or Modular structure to include pre-wired electrical requirements on the VA pre-existing foundation to house a 1.5T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit; for the use of eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Grand Junction, CO., in accordance with the terms and conditions listed herein. Contractor will provide such service with reliable, state of the art equipment that provides image quality meeting or exceeding that of a 1.5 Tesla System and using a Philips, GE or Siemens system. The MRI machine must be capable of performing MRA and functional imaging capabilities with all necessary software, hardware and power injector needed to perform bilateral-complete leg runoff and abdominal, thoracic and cervical angiography. Contractor shall maintain ownership of mobile/modular unit and shall be responsible to service and maintain all equipment in good working order in accordance with original equipment manufacturers standards and in accordance with the terms, conditions, provisions, and schedule of the contract. The NAICS code is 621512, $12.5M. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, this is a 100% Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. It is anticipated that the solicitation package will be available from website: www.fedbizopps.gov, on or before December 13, 2007. Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR located on the web at www.ccr.gov). It is desirable that any offeror to have completed their business Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) and also be registered with the VetBiz registry if a Service Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business firm at vip.vetbiz.gov. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation requirements and provides overall best value to the Government, price and other factors considered.
