- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS QUESTION. Can Fork Bliss off load the containers from a flat bed truck. ANSWER. Yes. QUESTION. Do the containers need to be certified as cargo worthy. ANSWER. I do not know what cargo worthy means. They must be able to store cargo. Can the containers be used, or do you need new, one time used containers. ANSWER. Either one is acceptable. QUESTION. On the above solicitation, will the end user have off-loading capabilities. ANSWER. Yes. QUESTION. Would yo u consider steel building materials that come with complete instructions to Fabricate the storage building on-site. ANSWER. No. QUESTION. How many do you need? ANSWER. Please refer to the combined synopsis/solicitation for the quantity required. QUE STION. What size do you need? ANSWER. Please refer to the combined synopsis/solicitation for the dimensions. QUESTION. When do you need them. ANSWER. Please refer to the combined synopsis/solicitation for the delivery date. QUESTION. Regarding sol icitation T-A021 for 20 ea. 8 x 20 containers, wood floor, tan color, is the required for NEW containers or USED containers. ANSWER. Either one is acceptable. QUESTION. Our concern is that the solicitation due date is December 13, 2007 which does not necessarily mean it will be awarded this date and that the material must be on site no later than January 2nd 2008. With 2 holidays in this time frame, in such a relatively short amount of delivery time already, I do not feel that anyone will be able to meet the timetable given the specifications of the solicitation. 25 30 calendar days FROM AWARD DATE is a more realistic timeline. If the time of delivery could be moved to the week ending Jan 18 it would be doable. ANSWER. Please refer to the combin ed synopsis/solicitation for the delivery date. QUESTION. We are a large business and would like to bid on this SOL#:W911SG-08-T-A021. It stated this is for small business set aside and I wanted to know if I can bid on this as we are a large business. ANSWER. The acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. QUESTION. Do you also have more info on the building you are specing. ANSWER. No. The acquisition is for storage containers, not buildings. QUESTION. We have 8W x 20L x 86 H chemical storage buildings but I need to know what is being stored inside it so I can make sure the unit will be constructed to meet the regulations of the products being stored. ANSWER. The acquisition is for storage containers, which will store soldier belongi ngs. QUESTION. Does both the contractor submitting the quote and their container supplier have to be registered small businesses. ANSWER. The combined synopsis/solicitation is 100% set aside for small business; the Government will award to a prospectiv e contractor. QUESTION. How do I put a bid in for the contract. ANSWER. Please access FEDBIZOPPS by https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi . QUESTION. I was trying to see whether or not this solicitation can be sole sourced. ANSWER. The acquisition is for full and open competition. QUESTION. Exactly what are the specification for the double-swing doors. ANSWER. Double-swing doors at one end of the container. QUESTION. Could you please tell me if this solicitation has been awarded or not. If so t o whom and in what amount. ANSWER. Please refer to the combined synopsis/solicitation for the closing date and time.
