Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Delivery Order under BOA N00019-06-G-0011 for the AN/ALQ-165(V) Airborne Self Protection Jammer (ASPJ) with a Joint Venture to ITT Industries Inc. and Northrop Grumman in Clifton, New Jersey on a sole source basis for the following efforts: (1) for the essential repair, support, calibration, and repackaging necessary to restore the USN AN/ALQ-165(V) Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRA?s) and Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRA?s) to a Ready-For-Issue (RFI) condition; (2) assist US Navy teams in aircraft preparation/installation and troubleshooting of USN AN/ALQ-165 systems when required. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to a Joint Venture, ITT Industries / Northrop Grumman in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The Joint Venture, ITT Industries / Northrop Grumman is the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the AN/ALQ-165(V) design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner. It will be necessary to rely on the Contractor for depot repair, test, support, calibration, and repackage as no organic capability is planned. Expressions of interest in subcontracting shall be addressed to Mr. Murray Pilchik of ITT Industries, Inc. See numbered notes 22 and 26.
