- Description
- The work consists of remeasuring Current Vegetation Survey plots. The prime objective is to remeasure trees, shrubs, and down woody debris collected during the 2008 field season. This data will be used for landscape, provincial, and regional analysis of current vegetation conditions and trends. These plots are one hectare in size when fully installed but will occupy less when they straddle BLM boundary lines. There are approximately 352 plots in this contract. The estimated start work date will be May 1, 2008 with a contract performance time of 180 calendar days. The project sites are located in Salem, Eugene, Roseburg, Coos Bay, and Medford Districts and the Klamath Falls Resource Area of the Lakeview District, Oregon. This solicitation includes an option that allows for increased quantities not to exceed twenty percent (20%) of the total contract amount. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is January 7, 2008. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. See Numbered Note(s): 1.
