Description
The US Army Operational Test Command (OTC) is seeking interested sources to furnish commercially available interoperability boxes. The interoperability boxes must interoperate with USAOTC Land Mobile Radios (MACOM P7150 Radio) and different trunked radio systems other than MACOM. Interconnect product should allow communications between two-way radios (HF and VHF/UHF) and various other media, such as cellular, landline telephone, and SATCOM. Interoperability box provides a communications interoperab ility by Tactical Repeating, Enhancement, Extension of In-Building and Underground Communications Coverage. Interoperability box should bridge portable, mobile, analog, digital, trunked and conventional and Type I, Type III AES and DES encrypted and unenc rypted radios; conventional land-line, cellular and satellite telephones, and; other communications means to provide cross band interoperability for USAOTC radios to different trunk radio systems CONUS wide. It is APCO P-25 and Voice over Internet Protoco l (VoIP) compatible. It can function as a cross-band repeater to connect and extends radio frequency coverage in urban or field environments. It should enhance in-building coverage and extend underground communications by employing C-AT's Cable/ Reel Exten sion. Immediate requirements are: The boxes must operate in three different trunked radio talk groups at Yuma Proving Ground, AZ, Fort Bragg, NC, and Fort Hood, TX using existing USAOTC radio assets. Below is a list of radio types the inte roperability box should be able to interface with: . Motorola Smartnet trunking protocol . Motorola Smartzone trunking protocol . Motorola XTS 3000 and 5000 . Motorola MX340 . Kenwood TK3101K Radio set HH FM2A 15 Ch 2w (VHF) . Astro G X 3000 . SINCGARS . MACOM P7150 The Government is interested in purchasing 60 interoperability boxes purchased to support USAOTC requirements. Additional information regarding this requirement will be posted to the AMSCA website: ht tps://www.amsca.atec.army.mil/. All interested parties are encouraged to view the information. The NAICS Code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. Sources response must include but not be limited to the following: the name, make, and model, part number specifications, product capability, price, business size of the end-item manufacturer and explain how these products can satisfy the Governments requirement. In addition to seeking sources, responses will be used to determine whether or not to set this requirement aside for exclusive competition by small business, HUBZone small business, or service-disabled veteran-owned small business.
