- Market Survey ??? Body Tube Assemblies/Tail Cones The Office of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources capable of fabricating, testing, inspecting, packaging and delivering Body Tube Assemblies and Tail Cones for 60mm and 81mm Illuminating Mortar Cartridges. Potential candidates must have the production capability to provide a combination of up to 10,000 sets per month of both cartridge types. Total quantities are not expected to exceed 60,000 per year. The Body Tube Assemblies and Tail Cones will be provided as Government Furnished Material (GFM) in support of 60mm and 81mm Illuminating mortar cartridge Load/Assemble/Pack (LAP) requirements at Pine Bluff Arsenal. All responding sources shall provide a summary of their company???s capabilities including organizations, name/address/point of contact identification, a description of facilities/equipment, manufacturing process, inspection capability, personnel, past experience as an ammunition producer, proven monthly production capacity and/or potential capability, possible partnering/teaming arrangements, and whether the company is a small or large business. It is also required to provide a point of contact, phone number, fax number, e- mail address, business size,DUNS number, CAGE Code, and capabilities. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), solicitation, or as an obligation on the part of the U.S. Government. This is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. See numbered note 26.
