Description
REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), FAA Academy, Contracts & Program Administration Branch,(AMA-260), has an annual requirement for Repairability of Composite Material for Aircraft instruction. DOT anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract; consisting of a base year and three (3) renewable 1-year options. SMALL BUSINESS DESIGNATION: NOTE: THIS REQUIREMENT IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE REQUIREMENT BASED UPON CONTRACTOR'S SMALL BUSINESS CERTIFICATION THROUGH THE U.S. SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA). CERTIFICATE SHALL BE PRESENTED WITH ALL OFFERS. North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 541990. Size Standard in number of employees or millions of dollars = $6.5. RESPONSES: All interested sources should first attempt to download the Screening Information Request (SIR), Request for Offer (RFO) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the SIR should be submitted in writing either via facsimile (405-954-9468) or via my E-Mail address. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency. All requests should be submitted to Steve Cundiff and reference SIR: DTFAAC-08-R-00118. SMALL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE: This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
