- RFQ: DJMS-08-Q-0006 Questions and Answers 1.The number of hours is listed as 2,008. Is this a typographical error that should have read 2,080 hours which is the standard number of work hours in a year? The estimated number of hours should read 2,008. This is 2088 hours minus 80 hours (10 holidays at 8 hours per day). 2. Does the number of hours (2,008 or 2,080) reflect the estimate of hours for one resource or is this total to be split among the two resources? I.e. two full-time resources or two part-time resources? 2008 hours are allotted for each resource. 3. Since there is only one resource working with one USMS employee, how are we expected to accommodate the USMS employee when our resource is away from work due to vacation or sick leave? I am unable to tell you how to compute your rates or staff your positions. However, the contract requires that a resource be provided for each physically challenged USMS employee Monday through Friday. 4. Bidders list A bidders list is not a requirement for this procurement vehicle. 5. Person (incumbent) or entity currently performing the contract/project. The five year Personal Assistant services contract was preformed by ENDdependence Central of Northern VA 6. Main differences between old statement of work and the current one or the old contract number, title, award date of when this project was last performed/managed. The last 5 year contract number was MS-02-C-0020 for Personal Assistant Services, awarded Sept. 2, 2002. 7. Old contract amount and/or price Five year contract award amount $628,800 8. Other question and answers from other contractors/persons. Other questions of interested parties are addressed herein. 9. Can we send in our quotation either by Email or Fax? Responses to the RFQ may be submitted via E-mail or Fax. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-DEC-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
