Description
This synopsis is for the purpose of obtaining market research only. NO PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED OR ACCEPTED UNDER THIS SYNOSPIS OR UNDER THIS SOLICITATION NUMBER. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) will use information obtained under this synopsis to develop an acquisition strategy to meet the agency?s Office of Global Support (OGS) Program Office needs in managing, training, and supporting NGA deployed personnel. This procurement is envisioned to be set aside for small business purposes. The intent of this synopsis is to determine industry?s interest in providing Deployment Specialist expertise in support of the OGS mission. SCOPE: NGA intends to award a 5-year (1 Base Year, plus 4 1-year Option Periods) Firm-Fixed-Price contract to provide support to the OGS program office through: 1. Technical Deployment Specialist Expertise: advice; analyses; assessments; assistance in proposal evaluations; process improvement recommendations. 2. Professional Management Support Services: provide programmatic and planning assistance; develop, maintain, schedule, coordinate, and conduct Deployment training; develop, maintain, schedule, coordinate, and conduct Emergency Medical training; develop, maintain, schedule, coordinate, and conduct Overseas Security training; monitor day-to-day operations of deployed personnel; maintain and administer the Deployment Orientation program; assist in oversight of all aspects of crisis, operational, or exercise deployments; support deploying personnel with Orders, Visas, and Milair; maintain the deployed personnel database; coordinate and attend meetings; analyze budgets and metrics; provide technical integration across OGS; provide program management and program control assistance. 3. Exploitation Support: develop, maintain, schedule, coordinate, and conduct geospatial-intelligence training; stay current on NGA and Intelligence Communities latest products and services; perform requirements satisfaction analyses. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 1. Contractors will be expected to periodically travel to theaters of operations and/or crisis locations which are not restricted to any geographical location or region of the globe. 2. Personnel may be required to visit and work in an area designated by the U.S. Government as an Imminent Danger Zone or Hostile Fire Zone. This designation means the contractor personnel may be subject to working in harsh or hostile conditions. Contractor personnel must also be willing and able to billet and work in temporary facilities (e.g. tents, warehouses, portable shelters). 3. Offerors will be required to hold a Top Secret Department of Defense (DoD) clearance and be approved for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), or be eligible for the timely granting of such clearance and access.
