- NAICS Code 236220. Work includes, but is not limited to: Install approximately 1750 square feet of new drywall partitions; install approximately 190 lineal feet of 4" high vinyl wall base to match existing; paint approximately 2880 square feet of new drywall partition and approximately 1300 square feet of previously painted drywall; install 6 new contractor furnished doors and install 1 previously removed door with doorframes; install 7 new floor mounted data/phone outlets, 2 new floor mounted electrical outlets and 10 new duplex floor outlets; install 1 new sprinkler head; install 6 new light switches and separate light fixtures in each individual office. All work will be performed at the Federal Building, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. To be eligible for award, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. Work to be completed within 45 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued December 21, 2007, with offers due on January 4, 2008. Anticipated award date is January 11, 2008. The solicitation will be made available electronically at the FedBizOpps website on the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading documents. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. A limited number of paper copies of the solicitation will be made available. Requests for paper copies must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer at PO Box 19, Aberdeen, SD 57402. Fax requests will be accepted at 605-226-7305. In addition, the subject drawings for this solicitation cannot be posted electronically. Requests for drawings must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer as previously instructed. This procurement is being conducted on an unrestricted basis in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. A site visit is recommended.
