Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is a 100% set aside for small business; the associated NAICS code is 424710 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The government will award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, with the lowest price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The government may elect to award without discussions. The contract for propane will be awarded on or about December 13, 2007. REQUIREMENTS: Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Keystone, South Dakota, has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of approximately 20,000 gallons of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Delivery by two 10,000 gallon tanker trucks. The driver shall schedule deliveries with Al Sage at 605-391-7944, 24 hours prior to delivery. The purchase is a lump sum Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The magnitude of the purchase is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Product Service Code 9130, NAICS Code 424710. The Small Business Standard is: 100 employees. Paper copies of combined Synopsis/Solicitation will not be issued. The Synopsis/Solicitation can be downloaded at the DOI website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) on December 6, 2007 and unless amendments are issued extending the solicitation the offers are due by 2:00 pm MST December 13, 2007. All vendors must be registered and current in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), (http://www.ccr.gov) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) (https://orca.bpn.gov).
