- Description
- Contractor shall upgrade existing AFFF protection system to high expansion foam (HEF). Hangar preparation includes; removing existing system, removing and reinstalling infra-red heating system, removing and replacing lighting system, altering the fi re suppression room, stripping existing hangar floor, and sealing floor with CRP. Remove old windows and replace with insulated aluminum frame windows, including mylar protection on the window glass meeting the UFC Force Protection requirements. Repair E IFS around old window openings. Install new hangar door and associated building structural elements. Project XGFG02232, entitled Repair/Maintain Maintenance Hangar, Building 400 at Truax Field ANGB, Madison, Wisconsin. The subsequent award will be a Fi rm-Fixed-Price contract with a contract completion time of two hundred and forty (240) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. Work shall include but not be limited to concrete, masonry, doors, metal stud walls, finishes, mechanical, electrical a nd plumbing. All work to be done IAW applicable specifications and drawings. The estimated project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation is unrestricted. Funds are presently not available for this project. The applicable N orth American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this solicitation is 236220. The Invitation for Bid will be issued on or about 21 December 2007. All responsive offers from responsible offerors will be considered. The solicitation will be availabl e from the Nationwide NG Posting for Electronic Business Solicitations (EBS) on-line at http://www.nationalguardcontracting.org/EBS/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp.
