- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ FA4800-08-Q-BC04. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. This acquisition is set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 334510 with a 500 emplyees size standard. This RFQ contains 6 lines item. The line item description is as follows: CLIN 0001 Volusion E [H48661JJ] (qty 1), CLIN 0002 4C-RS 2-4 MHz Convex Transducer [H400SR] (qty 1), CLIN 0003 E8C-RS Transducer [H40402LN] (qty 1), CLIN 0004 Insight Warranty Support [H1234RS] (qty 1), CLIN 0005 Sony B/W Digital Printer [H48651ML](qty 1), CLIN 0006 Volusion I/E Cart [H48651TD] (qty 1); End Item Description. Item identified above is manufactured by GE. Submittal of ?Or Equal? items are allowed under this solicitation. When quoting an ?or equal? item, offeror must submit all descriptive literature, specifications, catalogs, etc., along with their quotation, necessary to meet the requirements of this solicitation to be eligible for award. FOB point is Destination. The required delivery date is 13 Janurary 2007. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. Specifically, the following DFARS clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: 252.204-7004, Alternate A. Award will be made to the responsible offeror who?s quote/offer represents the best value in terms of technical (capability of item(s) offered to meet the government need), price, and past performance, which will be most advantageous to the government.
