- Description
- The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio, Nuclear Medicine Department, intends to sole source this procurement to Chase Environmental Group to provide the pickup and disposal of radioactive waste. Chase Environmental Group has the technical knowledge and proper equipment to safely remove the radioactive material. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS 562112 and size standard of 11.5 million to this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within two (2) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141 or via fax to (440) 838-6052. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs will proceed to sole source this requirement to Case Western Reserve University
