- Description
- Notice of Intent: The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Hardigg Industries, 147 N. Main Street, South Deerfield, MA 01373. The proposed acquisition will be for 12 each Compressor Module Container NSN 8145-01-HS1-4887, 12 each T56 Turbine Module Container NSN 8145-01-HS1-4886, with a 100 percent option. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 325211with Size Standard of 750. The items specified above represent a follow on to previous contracts with Hartigg Industries and specifications or drawings are not available to the Coast Guard. The purposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of data or other costs incurred in response to this announcement. See Note 22.
