Description

This synopsis is a modification to a previous notice. The purpose is to advertise a proposed contract extension for contract F09603-03-D-0017 for the maintenance, calibration, and repair of the portable balancing system PBS-4100 and accessory kits used for on-wing balancing of turbine jet engines. The applicable NSN are 6635-01-431-5283KV, 6635-01-357-6647KV, 6625-01-395-8180KV, 6625-01-413-8729KV, 6625-01-431-7920KV, 6625-01-502-5174KV, 6625-01-502-5175KV, 6625-01-502-5176KV, 6625-01-502-5177KV, 6625-01-502-6786KV, 6625-01-502-6787KV, 6625-01-502-6788KV, 5996-01-431-4624KV, & 5996-01-431-2547KV. The best estimated quantity (BEQ) is five (5) each for all NSN listed above. The period of performance is six months, beginning 21 Dec 2007. No technical data is available. Destination: Robins AFB GA 31098, Delivery is 60 Days ARO of funded order or repairable asset. This Requirement is sole source to the Mechanical Technology, Inc., Cage 26741. Justification: One or a limited Number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
