- Description
- The project consists of growing an estimated 515,000 bare root conifer tree seedlings from seed, and transplanting an estimated 196,000 containerized seedlings supplied by the Government. Stock types, species and estimated quantities for the bare root requirement will be: 1+1 Douglas-fir, 475,000; 1+1 Ponderosa pine, 40,000; Stock-types, species, transplant season and estimated quantities for the Government furnished containerized seedlings will be: Western red-cedar produced in 7 cubic inch volume Ray Leech cells for spring 2008 transplant, 95,000; western hemlock produced in 7 cubic inch Ray Leech cells for spring 2008 transplant, 40,000; Sitka spruce produced in 7 cubic inch Ray Leech cells for spring 2008 transplant, 15,000; Grand Fir produced in 7 cubic inch Ray Leech cells for spring 2008 transplant, 15,500; Douglas-fir produced in 7 cubic inch Ray Leech cells for spring 2008 transplant, 19,500; Noble Fir produced in 7 cubic inch Ray Leech cells for spring 2008 transplant, 11,000. The proposed procurement is approx. 70% set aside for small business. See Numbered Note(s) 2. The estimated issue date is December 12, 2007. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
