- Description
- Provide labor, materials, equipment & supervision for emergency replacement of canteen hood duct and exhaust fan. Remove existing roof curb and fan platform, install new curb roofed in. Duct to be 16 gage black grease duct run from two kitchen hoods to the exhaust fan at the roof. Remove plaster ceiling above t-grid ceiling and remove the t-grid ceiling. Replace the t-grid ceiling at the end of each days work so the kitchen can be used. All work shall be completed on Saturday and Sunday. All duct work shall be welded and insulated. Provide the following: New 27" Dome fan, roof patch, provide and install new 16 gage welded duct, provide and install grease pan duct insulation electrical for fan. If different than existing the contractor shall check for the electrical and amp requirements. Contractor shall give one week notification for scheduling work in the canteen. A fire permit will be issued on request. All work shall be scheduled through the COTR. Contract will utilize Part 15, Contracting by negotiation, and part 36 - Construction - The issue date is O/A 12-17-2007 - BOD is O/A 01-04-07 - All requests must be in writing by fax #801-584-2506 or e-mail to Elaine.davis@va.gov - Attention: Elaine P.
