- Description
- Bay Pines VA Healthcare System anticipates the award of a firm fixed-price contract for Construction for the following requirement: Replace the existing tile roof systems on Buildings 1 and 22 with concrete tile roof systems. There will be two bid items: (Bid Item 1) Provide all labor, tools, material, equipment, supervision and incidentals necessary to perform demolition of the existing clay tile and built-up roof systems and replace with a concrete roof system on Buildings 1 and 22 and any other work required by drawings and specifications. Work to be completed within 366 calendar days; (Bid Item 2) Same as Bid Item 1, except delete the removal and replacement of all roof work on Building 22. Work to be completed within 275 calendar days. The total magnitude of this contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. A pre-bid site visit will be conducted. All information for this solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) at www.fbo.gov. No hard copies will be available. Pursuant to FAR Part 14, this project is being solicited, 100% Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, under sealed bid procedures. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $13.0 Million and the NAICS (North American Industrial Classification System) Code for this solicitation is 238160, Roofing Contractors. All prospective bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. We anticipate issuing the solicitation on or about December 14, 2007 with a bid-opening date on or about January14, 2008.
