- Description
- The Perry Park Stewardship Project consists of: 1) Treatment of Product Other than Log (POL) and slash, 2) Timber harvest and removal on approximately 81 acres of Forest Service land in the South Platte Ranger District of the Pike and San Isabel National Forest. The service work includes felling, masticating, yarding/skidding, decking of POL material and/or removal of POL. The estimated quantity of sawtimber to be removed is 423 CCF of Ponderosa Pine & Douglas Fir. Some temporary road construction and/or maintenance may be required in order to complete the service work and timber removal. The NAICS is 115310 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. Solicitation AG-82X9-S-08-0020 will be issued and posted on this website on or around 12/13/2007. The solicitation will be issued under full and open competition. Any responsible business may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The Forest Service anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract utilizing best value techniques under stewardship authority. The period of performance will be approximately one year from date of award.
