- Description
- This is an unrestricted acquisition for Fresh Milk and Dairy Products and Fruit Juices for DoD and non-DoD customers in the state of Virginia. Major delivery points include ships at the following locations: various piers at Commander Naval Base Norfolk; Norfolk Naval Shipyard; ortsmouth, VA; Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek; Shipyard, Newport, News, Va; and others in Tidewater area. Shore-based delivery points include: Cheatham Annex, Williamsburg; Dam Neck Fleet Combat Training Center, Virgina Beach; Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base, Norfolk; Naval Station Norfolk; Naval Station Northwest, Chesapeake; Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach; Yorktown Weapons Station, Yorktown; and Aegis Combat System Center, Wallops Island, Virginia. These delivery points require indefinite quantities of Fresh Milk and Dairy Products and Fruit Juices for delivery beginning March 1, 2008 and ending February 27, 2010. The contract period will be twenty-four (24) months. All materials to be used in fabrication are to be furnished by the successful offeror(s). All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP). Copies of the solicitation will be found on the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. If not already registered, prospective offerors will be required to do so prior to viewing and downloading a copy of the solicitation. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF).
