- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items as prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a solicitation. The NAICS code is 511210 and the size standard for this requirement is $23M. Solicitation H94003-08-R-0002 is sole source to Cadence Design Systems of San Jose, CA. This requirement is a follow on requirement for software license upgrades, software support and maintenance. The contractor shall deliver the software upgrades identified in Appendix A that are required to enhance the existing equipment. The support is required to be available from 0800 and 1600 PST, excluding weekends and holidays. The contractor shall perform corrective actions within 48 hours after submission of a trouble report and shall provide vendor approved field support to correct actions on reported failures outside the scope or expertise of the DMEA system manager. The contractor shall deliver all pertinent documentation required to implement and use the upgraded software. Documentation shall be provided in printed form. Second or backup copies shall be provided on 4mm tape or CD. The Cadence Product Numbers for software maintenance included in this requirement are: 300, 32120, 32500 32520 34500 34510 71520, 72140, 900, 21400 and 3000. See Note 22.
