- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD intends to issue a modification to Delivery Order 0043 (MV-22 Follow On Test and Evaluation (FOT&E) Program), under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-04-G-0007 with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office to exercise a 12-month option for the MV-22 FOT&E. The Contractor shall provide on-site (NAWC AD, Patuxent River), home based (Contractor facilities), and off-site flight test management, flight test engineering, design engineering and related effort to support flight and ground testing activities for the MV-22 aircraft. This requirement was procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The Bell-Boeing team possesses the engineering data, technical skills, and requisite knowledge of the design, fabrication, performance, operation, maintenance, and support characteristics of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft.
