- Description
- Maintenance dredging of approximately 20,000 cubic yards of unclassified material from Pier X-Ray located at Naval Weapons Station (NPTU), Berkeley County, South Carolina. Material shall be deposited in the Yellow House Creek Disposal Area, Berkeley County, South Carolina. The work includes complying with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammals Protection Act. Dredging window is scheduled between 05 April 2008 and 24 April 2008. This project is 100% set-aside for Small Busi nesses. MAGNITUDE OF WORK is $400,000 to $700,000. Contractor must be registered in the DOD Central contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of this solicitation. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic forma t, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Bidders must be registered in the CCR and at the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) Homepage (https://www.fedteds.gov/)in order to view or download the solicita tion documents. It is the responsibility of offer to monitor the website for notices and amendments. The solicitation will be posted on or about December 20, 2007 with proposals due on or about January 22, 2008.
