- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. This solicitation, number 8T-C-091 is to be used for a Request for Quote (RFQ) only. This procurement is restricted to 100% small business concerns. The NAICS code is 532112 and the size standard is $23.5M. Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13 apply. The requirement is for quantity, 10 months, lease of one 15-Passenger Van for dates of 9 Dec 07 through 30 Sep 08; 10 months, lease of two Ford Explorer, 9-Passenger, SUV 4x4 for dates of 9 Dec 07 through 30 Sep 08; 10 months, lease of two three-fourths ton or 1 ton, 4-door, 4X4, Pick-up truck for dates of 9 Dec 07 through 30 Sep 08. The vehicles must be DELIVERED to Camp Bullis, TX 78287 on Sunday 9 Dec 07. FOB Destination is required. Quote must be effective through 30 September 2008. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items applies-Quotes will be evaluated based on most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. The following factors are stated in relative importance and shall be used to evaluate quotes: 1.technical capability of the item(s) offered to meet the Government requirement for vehicles as specified above; 2.price; (see FAR 15.304). This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-21.
