- The Intramural Research Program (IRP), National Institute on Aging (NIA), National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a sole source purchase to MED ASSOCIATES, INC, Post Office Box 319, St Albans, VT 05478. NAICS CODE 334516 and the size standard is $500. The vendor will supply a Four Station Mouse Video Freeze System for the Laboratory of Neuroscience that is unique because it integrates an infrared camera to record mouse behavior into each test box. This option is not available through other vendors. MED ASSOCIATES is the manufacturer sole distributor of this equipment. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a Simplified Acquisition with the estimated value of less than $100,000.00 threshold. This acquisition is being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agency?s requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct any future competitive procurement.
