- Description
- The Bureau of the Census is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis / solicitation for the purchase of paper, 24#, pre-cut, 11 inch X 17 inch, minimum brightness 94, digital laser copy. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 51-SO-BC-8-00005 is issued as a Request For Quote. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-21, dated 07-Nov-2007. CLIN001 paper, white, 24 # / 60 # basis weight, pre-cut, 11 inch X 17 inch, minimum brightness 94, digital laser copy paper. 500 sheets per ream, wrapped, 5 reams per box. Quantity 704 boxes. Include a specification sheet with bid. CLIN002 Quantity variation of no more than plus or minus 10% of CLIN001. Paper must be compatible with the following equipment: Xerox - DocuTech 6115, DocuTech 155HLC, DocuTech 6100, DocuPrint 115, and Dupo booklet maker. Delivery is FOB destination to the Bureau of the Census, 1201 East 10th Street, Jeffersonville, IN 47132, Attn: Receiving Section Bldg. 60 F. Acceptance at same location. Delivery schedule: one (1) trailer load or 704 boxes Friday 28-Dec-2007. The apparent low bidder may be required to deliver to the delivery location 1 (one) box of 2500 sheets of paper as a sample for testing, within 2 days after notice from the Government, at no cost to the Government. Awardees will have to be registered at CCR.gov and complete a U.S. Census Bureau's vender registration form. The following provisions and clauses apply to this RFQ. 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evalutions-Commerical Items, 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commerical Items, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commerical Items, 52-214-20, Bid Samples (Apr. 2002), and 52-225-1, Buy American Act Supplies (June 2003). Be sure to include all shipping and handling charges to the delivery location. Bids are due by 5:00 PM on 11-Dec-2007.
