- The intent of this solicitation is to obtain the services to inspect Wildland firefighting Engines and Tenders in accordance with the 2007 Water Handling Equipment Solicitation AG-04H1-S-07-9001. This service will be to inspect 20% (approx. 130) of the awarded equipment. Random selection will be conducted by the Forest Service and information provided back to the contractor with the names and locations. Locations will be listed in the solicitation for Oregon and Washington areas. The solicitation will be posted in Federal Business Opportunities on approximately December 19, 2007. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR SOLICITATION PACKAGE SHOULD BE MAILED TO USDA Forest Service, Attention Kermadine Barton, 2164 NE Spalding Avenue, Grants Pass, OR 97526.
