- Description
- The Contracting Office in the 642 CBSG at Robins AFB GA will procure a firm-fixed-priced contract for the design and production of aircraft hydrant refueling trucks, NSN: 2320-01-125-2481. The vehicles shall be design and manufactured in accordance with the specifications set forth in Commercial Item Description A-A-59259A, dated 18 Dec 2006. The resulting contract from the solicitation will be a requirements-type of Indefinite Delivery contract and will include one basic contract period of 12 months and four annual option periods. Best Estimated Quantities average from 15 to 22 over the contract periods and preproduction testing is mandatory. The requirement involves a detailed test plan, test report and technical manual to be provided to the Government. FAR 12 and FAR 15 procedures will be utilized in the Performance-Price Tradeoff acquisition methodology that the Government will utilize for selection of the best value proposal. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business participation only. All offerors will be required to submit a price proposal and detailed performance volume in accordance with solicitation instructions. RFP solicitation is expected to be released to public on approximately 13 November 2007. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (26-OCT-2007).
