- This Request for Information (RFI) is the initiation of market research under Part 10 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and is not a Request for Proposals (RFP). The Government does not intend to pay for any information furnished pursuant to this RFI. NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division is seeking sources and requesting MARKET SURVEY information relative to the support of inspections equipment for PIDAS Program. The primary purpose of this market survey is to obtain product information for commercial services that can respond to and repair in the equipment listed below under specified time constraints. It is understood that not all products may be supported. Certified by manufacturer to provide maintenance and repair for the following equipment: ? Gemini?American Science and Engineering (AS&E) ? Itemiser3?GE Security ? Metor 200WP?Rapiscan Systems Service calls on listed equipment responded to within 24 hours, repaired within 48 hours at: ? Kings Bay, GA ? Silverdale, WA Any interested company is invited to submit written information (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc.) in response to this synopsis request for information including the following: ROM pricing for stated requirements and any government discounts available; Term of Standard Warranty Available at no additional cost to the Government; Information regarding the Commerciality of the services to be procured (e.g. if the items are considered by vendor to be commercial services) Any other terms and conditions not mentioned that are standard to the industry Comments, questions, or clarifications on this RFI Potential sources should respond, in writing, to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Attn: Jeremy Flamion, B3324 Code JXQS, 300 Hwy. 361, Crane, IN 47522-5001, or via e-mail to jeremy.flamion@navy.mil NLT 2:00 p.m. ET, 7 January 2008.
