Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a non-competitive basis with Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, Chatsworth CA for Repair of Repairable (ROR) services for the SJU-17(V) Navy Aircrew Common Ejection Seat (NACES) Electronic Sequencer Test Set under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). This test set, currently being procured, will be capable of testing all fielded versions of the SJU-17(V) NACES Electronic Sequencers, MBEU146470-3, -4, -5 and -6 as well as capable of testing enhanced diagnostic ranges of future NACES Sequencers. It is anticipated that the ROR services will support three (3) SJU-17(V) NACES Sequencer Test Sets over a three (3) year period. The Government anticipates the award of firm-fixed price delivery orders under the BOA. Teledyne Technologies is the original equipment manufacturer of the SJU-17(V) NACES Electronic Sequencer Test Set and the only source with the technical expertise and data required for ROR support. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
