- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price supply contract to supply, fabricate, deliver, and install metal fabrications for the Top Spill Weir (TSW) Closure Gate Lifting Beam for the John Day D am Project. Due to the Government's need to make frequent shop inspections related to this work, competition will be limited to those companies within a two hour driving distance from the Portland, OR area. This solicitation is for a 100% small business set-aside; NAICS code is 332312; and the size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation package will be issued in electronic format at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation_view.cfm?psolicitationnbr=W9127N08Q0011 on or about December 3rd 2007 with quotes due on 14 December 2007 at 1400hrs (PST).
