- Description: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The intended sole source is University of Colorado, Center for Ad vanced Decision Support for Water and Environmental Systems (CADSWES). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. How ever, all proposals received within seven days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with in the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Firms intending to provide submittals must submit detailed information indicating t heir ability to meet the governments requirements. All inquiries must be received by 2 PM (1400) CST on 10 December 2007. This notice is to meet the requirement for RiverWare Software. RiverWare is a reservoir system simulation program for evaluating s ystems of reservoirs. RiverWare is the division wide corporate reservoir system simulation program. The University of Colorado, Center for Advanced Decision Support for Water and Environmental Systems (CADSWES) had developed the simulation package and ma rkets it under the name RiverWare. The requirement herein is an annual license to the current software used by the Corps of Engineers. If additional technical information is needed, please contact Mr. Jerry Cotter, 817.886.1549.
