- This acquisition is for the procurement of the Lining, Helmet, Shock Absorbing (Bladder Assembly Kit). The National Stock Numbers associated with this acquisition are 8475-01-321-1542 (quantity of 260 units), 8475-01-319-8766 (quantity of 370 units), and 8475-01-321-6799 (quantity of 70 units). A Firm-Fixed Price contract is suitable for the procurement of the Lining, Helmet, Shock Absorbing (Bladder Assembly Kit) and the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. This item requires Engineering Source Approval (ESA) by the design control activity at Brooks Air Force Base in order to maintain the quality of the item. DPSCM 4155.3 quality systems requirements, dated 3 November 1997, applies.
