Description

DESCRIPTION: Request for Proposal - N7129080036 - Trash collection at Bandelier National Monument, Technical Area 49 (TA-49), and associated campgrounds. This acquisition is subject to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns regardless of size. NAICS code: 562111. This is a service contract and service contract wage rates apply. Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act can be downloaded from the following website: www.wdol.goc/index.html. This is Firm Fixed Price contract with a base year and four option years for a total of five years. The work of this contract will require the vendor to furnish all labor and equipment for storage, pick-up and disposal of solid waste to a certified landfill. The contractor will be responsible for providing dumpsters and removing waste per a predetermined schedule. This contract is for Bandelier National Monument which is located approximately 15 miles from Los Alamos, NM; 30 miles from Espanola, NM; and 45 miles from Santa Fe, NM. A paper solicitation will not be issued and electronic submission of vendor proposals will not be accepted. . The procurement and award will be made based on price and other related factors. The Government will not select an offeror for award on the basis of superior capability without concern for the price of the offer. Non-price factors are approximately equal to cost or price. Factors include, but may not be limited to: past performance, demonstrated abilities in the work required, and project management. Details related to the source selection process will be posted within the solicitation in Sections L & M. Solicitation Q7129080036 will be issued on or about December 17, 2007.
