- Amendment 0002 to Reference Number SB3100-7319-1001 to provide preventative maintenance, repair, and system maintenance for the Ammonia Refrigeration Plant is issued to answer the following questions, and to extend the synopsis/solicitation due date. Question 1 ? Is the intent of the quote to maintain the level of service that the Government has now? Answer - Yes, the Government must maintain its current level of service. Question 1A - Does the Government want the 24 hour watch/seven day a week employees that monitor the plant and sound the alarm? Answer ? Yes, the Government needs the 24 hour watch/seven day a week employees that monitor the plant and sound the alarm in case of ammonia leaks. Question 1B ? Per the HAMAT/Process Safety Management Plan, does the contractor require to provide a 30 minute response when notified of an ammonia leak? Answer ? Yes, the contractor must provide a 30 minute response when notified of an ammonia leak for safety reasons. Contractor must be HAZMAT and HAZWOPER certified. Quotation due date is extended to November 29, 2007 @ 2:00PM. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-NOV-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
