- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Heavy Equipment Rental) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). RFQ # M67399-08-Q-0002 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18. This is a restricted purchase set-aside for 100% Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 532412. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this order is 7359. The small business size standard is 500 EMP. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this order is DO-C9.The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) for this order is W085. This solicitation is for the rental of heavy equipment for an upcoming range project. The equipment will be leased from January 3, 2008 to January 31, 2008. The end-user has requested that all equipment wheels will have 50% of tire tread wear or better, and all cabs must be enclosed with heating units. The enduser is also looking for a flat rate vice hourly rate. Items will be delivered to and operated on the Rifle Range aboard Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command Twenty-nine Palms, CA. The following intels the size and the quantity of what is needed: CLIN 0001- Qty: 3: Equivalent to CAT 966 Front End Loader enclosed cab, heater, w/4 and one bucket or standard 4 yd bucket (preferably the 4 and one) CLIN 0002- Qty: 1: Equivalent to CAT 330 Excavator w/ thumb and bullet proof glass( or blastshield class 4 rating), w/heater CLIN 0003- Qty: 2: 35-40 Ton Rock Dump w/heater CLIN 0004- Qty: 1: 4000 Gal. Water truck CLIN 0005- Qty: 1: 140H Road Grader w/ rippers and enclosed cab CLIN 0006- Qty: 1: Delivery and Pickup Charge Place of contract delivery will be Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC) Twentynine Palms, CA. The winner of this award is required to be registered with, understand, and invoice through Wide Area Workflow.
