- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Eastern Region Acquisitions and Grants Branch, Reston, VA has a requirement to make a competitive award via written request for quotation No. 08ERQQ0031. The work shall be performed at Ann Arbor, MI, in accordance to the specifications in the Statement of Work for Drilling and Installation of a new well. Work shall be completed within 30 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is December 28, 2007, with Notice to Proceed approximately on January 3, 2008, and and Pre-construction meeting for January 2, 2008. Responses are due by December 14, 2007. All vendors must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. NAICS Code 237110. THIS AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. A site visit will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 10:00am. It is strongly suggested that all interested offerors attend since there will be no other opportunity for a site visit. If your firm is interested in attending, please contact Charlie Wootke via email at (cwootke@usgs.gov) to register no later than December 7, 2007; 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). All contractors interested to bid in this project must provide with their quote 3 verifiable references from past performance on similar projects in size and complexity, as well as, proof of their well installer and driller State of Michigan License.
