No telephone or email requests will be accepted. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, testing equipment and materials to overhaul the Main Rotor Blade, Leading and Trailing Edge, PRID: H291, Input NSNs: 161 5-01-310-4978, 1615-01-330-5098, 1615-01-332-0702, and 1615-01-415-6397; Output NSNs: same as inputs; Input PNs: 7-311412000-3, 7-7-311412000-3A, 7-311412000-5, and 7-311412000-5A; Output PNs: same as inputs, in support of the AH-64 A/D aircraft. The Gove rnment intends to award a firm fixed price, 3 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for a minimum quantity of 25 each, maximum quantity of 750 each, including 150 each for FMS. A technical data Depot Maintenance Work Requiremen t (DMWR) 55-1615-313 has been verified and validated to support this requirement, however, the main rotor blade is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and requires overhaul from an approved source in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Suppleme nt (DFARS) Part 2, Subpart 209.270-3 Qualification Requirements and DFARS 9.202, Subpart 209-2 Therefore, this item is restricted to the only known approved sources: McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Corporation (Boeing Helicopter), Cage Code 8V613 and Israe l Aicraft Industries (I.A.I.), Cage Code S5495).. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. Award will not be delayed to allow Source Approval Request (SAR) processing time for unapproved sources. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
